Who Are We?

    The Castilian Fleet, named in honor of the late Admiral Armand de Castille and founder of the fleet, is one of the largest “Household’s” within the SCA that call the Kingdom of An Tir their home with over 100 members to date. The fleet consist of four ships, the Mocha Sozinhia, Dragon’s Blood, the Mer Serene and the Sapphire Dragon and three clans, House of Rogues, Drakkar, a Norse Clan and McLion form the Scottish aspect of life and have associations with many other Household’s such as House Deleon and the Barony of Three Mountains. In addition we have a mercenary group that has recently formed on our fleet to handle training of heavy and light fighters within our fleet. Currently the Admiral is Lord Arthus De Winterton, a long time and close friend of the former Admiral’s.

    Designed to bring the life of the mariner and those who lived and or associated with such adventures to the forefront of SCA thinking, Lord Arthus De Winterton has developed a mission statement which will help guide the Fleet to the next level.

    Currently the fleet’s schedule can be found at the Port of Call which will list their current and planned portages. It will also contain a link to all other events that will be occurring within the Kingdom of An Tir for the Society of Creative Anachronisms. Online registration will be included on this page for Fleet sponsored or sanctioned events to make it easier for you to participate. .
