Over the past few months Cascade Access has been taking strides to provide a more reliable and rewarding online experience for you, the end user. We have made several network wide upgrades, including increasing our overall available bandwidth, beginning a deployment of a higher speed DSL system for end users, and now we will begin a move to upgrade system servers.

We will begin the process of moving to new mail, web, file and DNS servers that will increase our capacity, and will increase processing power for you. For you, this increase in processing power will translate into faster, more reliable email transmission, and will allow us to continue to add additional services for your online experience.

During this upgrade, which will start on July 20th 2005 at 00:00 hours, you can expect sending and recieveing of email, and LOCAL Web Access (websites hosted by Cascade Access, not general internet webpages) to be offline. Incoming email (mail destined for your email address) will be stored on external mail servers, and will be delivered once the upgrade is complete. Once the upgrade is complete, there should be no need to adjust any of your system settings.
